What keeps you interested in slacklining?

Slacklining is a lifetime sport, I love all the disciplines of slacklining and how focused it keeps me.

What is your proudest accomplishment in slacklining?

I’m proud of meeting all of the international people I’ve met, slacklining brought me to places I never thought I’d be able to go. I’m probably most proud of my trips to the US competing against some of the people that started of as my idols: Andy Lewis, Justin Wagers, Alex Mason.

What's your favorite trick?

540’s and buttflips to feet. My specialty is doing multiple 540’s in a row.

What’s unique about your style compared to the rest of the team?

Good amplitude (not like Abraham but still good), and I think I have a nice natural style that makes my tricks look a little different than everyone else.

What is the slackline scene like in Venezuela?

Luis Marquez, Anuar Mata, Victoria Olivares and I are the core slackline team down here. We are teaching slackline classes twice a week, 3 hours a day trying to spread slacklining to a greater audience.

Do you have any advice for all the new slackliners out there?

Stop practicing (laughs). No I’m just kidding, I would tell everyone to keep slacklining for fun and don’t take it too seriously.
