a melted mess
"Hi Slackline. I tried my best not to break my neck the first time trying the slackline! I expected it to be difficult and it was. The reason for three stars is that I had a difficult time getting the ratchet to release after use. It was about 80 degrees that day and the tread on the slackline melted in the tightened part of the ratchet and glued itself together and wouldn't release. I had to pry the melted portions apart little by little and finally got it to release. This shouldn't have been an issue at all. Maybe I should have purchased the more expensive line? I would like to use the line and work on balance but I'm afraid I won't be able to take the slackline down when I'm finished, and it certainly shouldn't take a half hour to dissemble. I'm not certain what I will do from here moving forward. Thanks. Jim"
