When did you start slacklining?
I started in 2010
What kept you hooked?
In the beginning the tricks, the skills need it to land on such a small line. After I was getting deeper into the sport, I connected in
a way that works for me as a meditation source while I´m walking long distances. Now I can apply that type of concentration into all
other aspects of my personal and professional life.
What is your proudest accomplishment in slacklining?
On the line, I think I'm still getting better everyday, there´s no top for me yet. Personally, slackline has allowed me to share with amazing people from all over the world and even make me found the first Slackline School in Panamá. I'm proud to be part and be involve in this great culture and have all the friends that I've gained all over the world thanks to a 2-inch line. It´s amazing.
hat’s the slackline scene like in Panama?
Slackline is relatively new in the country, but the sports like slackline and climbing are getting an exponential support that make us grow in enthusiast numbers every year.
What is your favorite slackline spot?
There's a 60 meter spot in the park near my home that only has these two palm trees and nothing else, the feeling of walking on and seeing all the horizon is amazing.
What is your style of slacklining? Tricklining? Highlining? Teaching?
I prefer long, high and water line. And of course teaching.
What have you been up to lately?
We've already organized the first slackline festival, and we're already planing a second one for this year. I also really focus on spreading the sport and teach as mush people as I can.
