When did you start slacklining?
That feels like ages ago! I started when I was 13 years old back in the summer of 2009. Now its 2016 so thats 7 and a half years of slacklining.
What kept you interested?
Its those moments when you are out with your friends being a 100 % sure what we are doing right now is just the pure “flow”. That Flow makes the Progression.
What is your proudest accomplishment in slacklining?
Probably having landed the first backflip feet to feet in an Airline Competition.
How would you describe your style? Do you take inspiration from any of your other sports like parkour or football??
When I learn something new I become so happy and I wanna do it over and over again. Repetition makes it perfect. I think thats one reason why my style is quite clean and safe. Parkour helps me for sure with all the complex movements. My awareness gets better. Football gave me strong legs, endurance and it thought me winning is what you wanna do. I was always quite ambitious, which is good, because you move forward, but its as well important to not be consumed by your ambition.
What is your favorite spot to slackline at?
Sand is a pretty nice for Tricklining. But with good friends around you every spot becomes good.
What was your favorite slackline trip?
The Trip to Foz do Iguaçu was very exciting. Sardinia with the Elephant team was pretty nice as well. Bosnia was interesting. Colorado is always beautiful. All were great, but none really stood out.
What is next in your life? Are you attending school? Do you have any slackline projects you are working on?
I definitely wanna bring more aesthetic to Tricklining. I just started studying where I am learning Sport and Movement Science at the University in Stuttgart.
