When did you start slacklining?
What kept you interested?
I actually thought slacklining was pretty lame at first, but I was hooked the first time I saw a video of people tricklining. I immediately wanted to learn every trick I saw.
What is your proudest accomplishment in slacklining?
I am mostly proud of the places slacklining has taken me. If not for slacklining, I definitely wouldn't have been able to spend so much time in Europe and meet amazing people from all over the world. Also stoked on landing the first ever 900
What is your favorite trick?
My favorite trick has to be the feet to feet backflip. It just feels so rewarding to land no matter how many times you've done it!!
We haven't seen you in competition in a while, do you plan on getting back to it?
Definitely not. I have huge respect for our competitive team and I loved competing but unfortunately injuries have been a big setback for me, and the level of competitive tricklining has just gotten out of hand. I am going to focus on some big video projects and doing more creative forms of tricklining.
Do you have any advice for all the new slackliners out there?
My advice is to take advantage of the slacklining community around you. Slacklining is an amazing sport but what makes it more amazing are the people who are involved in it!
What’s it like being the Team Manager?
Oh man, it's a blast. I know everyone on my team truly loves what they do so I don't really have the responsibility of cracking the whip, I just get to work with some of the coolest people in the world on creating content, organizing events, and living the slacklife!
